Design & Development Contest

With a theme 'Towards Better Mobility and Energy'

About Contest

Our objectives in running such a contest are to encourage students to think out of the box and develop new solutions for challenges

we face in mobility and energy. Teams need to submit the idea based on given theme 'Towards Better Mobility and Energy'

with following points

• What is the problem statements
• What is your solution
• Tentative plan for building a prototype. Give all the steps, date for completion of each of the steps.

Prizes & Awards

• Total Prizes worth Rs. 20 Lakhs
• First Grand Team Prize Rs. 10 Lakhs
• Second Team Prize Rs. 5 Lakhs
• Prizes for up to five winning teams Rs. 1 Lakhs
• All winning team members will get certificates during award ceremony.

Selection process

•  All ideas would be evaluated by experts in the field of mobility and energy.
•  About 50 entries would be selected in the prequalification round.
• These 50 teams would towards the final proof of concept or working model.
• All team entering into the finals have to submit a video of their working model 10 days before the contest day.
• Judges would evaluate each project on the day of the contest. At the end of the day winners would be declared. Award ceremony would be followed in the evening on the same day.

Prequalification Round- 

In this round, over 100 colleges participated in the innovation contest Sparkle 2015. In the first round,

we received over 400 ideas. We selected 60 best ideas out of the 400.

 

Round 2^nd - 

·         In this we will review videos, pictures etc. to assess the progress of your project.

·         Submission of proof of concept of your idea/ project.

Final Round

The final round will be held on March 21, 2015 on the grounds of KPIT Technologies. This event would be open to

public. Eminent judges would evaluate the projects. Award ceremony will be held in the afternoon on the 21st March,

2015. We take this opportunity to invite you for the grand event on March 21, 2015.
