A National Summit for IT Professionals and Human Resource Professionals on the theme “Latest trends for hiring fresher in IT industry” was organized on 13th March 2013 by IES Group in association with the Times of India at IES Campus. On the occasion IT companies providing better opportunities to engineering students in Madhya Pradesh were felicitated. The summit was organized in three sessions. The theme of the first session was “Responsibility of students and Institutions in the Grooming Engineering Students for Better Employment Opportunities in IT Industry”. Second session Corporate leaders and the final session, lectures from experts were organized.

7th IES National Teacher’s Excellence Award was graced by His Excellency Honorable Shri Ram Naresh Yadav Ji, Governor of Madhya Pradesh as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour Shri Babulal Gour ji ,Minister Home Department & Shri A.K. Pandey, Chairman, M.P. Private University Regulatory Commission, Shri B.S. Yadav, Chairman IES Group & Dr. Sunita Singh, Director of IES Group. The Governor, Guest of Honour and all the dignitaries congratulated the award winning teachers for their outstanding effort. Dr. Joshi while addressing said research play an important role in the field of education and it is important in developing the technology of India. The program ended with the vote of thanks extended by Director of IES group Dr. Sunita Singh to all the participants’ guest and awardees

On 22 March, 2013 IES College of Technology received the honor of being the “Best IT Institute in the field of Higher Education in the state of Madhya Pradesh” from about 200 entries from other colleges of the state. The award was conferred at CMAI National Madhya Pradesh Education Award-2013 organized by RGPV. Spread across 12000 Sq. ft. IES Central Computer Lab is equipped with the latest technology and software because of which it serves as remote center for IIT- Bombay’s National Mission on Education through ICT and Microsoft Innovation Center.

IES College of Technology wins “ Education Excellence Award 2013” the most prestigious award that recognize excellence in education sector on 27th February by One Planet Research an Indo Italian Research Center for its exemplary contribution in the field of placement and Industrial Training in the state of MP. The gala event was hosted by One Planet Research where Shri Sharad Yadav, Lok Sabha MP President of JD (U) and NDA Convener was the Chief Guest. He congratulated the representatives of chosen best colleges of the country for their performance and emphasized on the need of quality change in higher education with regard to changes occurring at international level, so that students gain special expertise, and knowledge of their language and culture to earn better opportunities at international platform.

The 17th National Sports Times Awards were given away in ceremony held at NITTTR auditorium. 21 girls were awarded the Khiladi Betiyaan Award in different sports. IES Group was awarded “Khel Protsahan Sansthan Award” for contribution to the sports activities and encouragement to the students of engineering, pharmacy, management and education in the field of sports. This award was received by Dr. Sunita Singh, Group Director. On this occasion Khel Sanchalak Dr, Shailendra Shrivastav was present and addressed the audience. He urged the students of different institute to participate more in sports activities. SAI Khel Nideshak Shri R.K. Naidu was also present in the ceremony. He congratulated IES Group of Institutions for this special achievement.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. In order to appreciate such armed students, MP Education Excellence Awards 2014-15 were distributed by the Skill Research Organization in IES Group of Institutions which was honored as well, with this award for giving outstanding results and for its contribution to excellence in education. The award ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest Shri Uma Shankar Gupta, Minister for Higher Education, MP Govt. along with Shri. P. J. Sudhakar, Guinness book record holder.
